Grace Gonzalez grew up around music. Songwriting became the way she processed life early on, especially during seasons of wrestling with mental health and big questions about identity, truth, and purpose. Music wasn’t a hobby, it was how she stayed grounded.

She moved from Wisconsin to Nashville at eighteen to pursue folk music. But after a few years of trying to build a career, she burned out. The pressure to create something impressive didn’t align with why she started making music in the first place. Then the world shut down during 2020, and all the noise got quiet. That’s when she began asking God honest questions she avoided for a long time: “If You’re real, show me.”

What followed was a personal encounter with the Lord in 2022 that changed her from the inside out. It didn’t make life perfect, and it didn’t erase struggle, but it reoriented her toward truth, peace, and a relationship she could actually lean on. Out of that season came her Adonai EP full of songs written in the middle of fresh faith, dependence, and a very real awareness of God’s presence.

In addition to her solo career, Grace tours as a background vocalist with David Phelps. The two recently collaborated on her November 2025 Christmas release, “All Is Well.” To her, it still feels surreal- not an achievement to display, but a reminder of how far God has carried her.

These days, Grace writes honest songs about following Jesus through real life. She hopes her music reaches people who are struggling, reminds them they’re not alone, and points them gently back to God. She is currently working on new music for release in 2026.
